I Comuni Ricicloni 2011 premiati da Legambiente
La premiazione del concorso "Comuni Ricicloni 2011", organizzato da Ecosportello Rifiuti di Legambiente. Anche quest’anno il Nord si aggiudica il primo posto per la migliore gestione dei rifiuti con in testa Ponte nelle Alpi, in provincia di Belluno. Un comune su sei supera il 60% di raccolta differenziata.

Quest’anno "Comuni Ricicloni 2011" di Legambiente ha premiato i comuni che hanno superato l’obiettivo imposto dalla Legge (Finanziaria 2007) del 60% di raccolta differenziata entro il 2011.
"Come dimostra il caso di Napoli, quello della gestione dei rifiuti è un settore da non sottovalutare – ha dichiarato il presidente nazionale di Legambiente Vittorio Cogliati Dezza -. Nonostante i passi avanti compiuti e gli exploit di Salerno e dei capoluoghi sardi, descritti dal dossier presentato oggi, rimangono ancora ampie zone problematiche, soprattutto a carico delle metropoli, sulle quali è urgente investire. La strada da percorrere è evidentemente quella dell’estensione del porta a porta, della costruzione degli impianti di riciclaggio (a partire dall’organico), della diffusione delle politiche di prevenzione e della realizzazione, per i rifiuti residuali non altrimenti riciclabili, degli impianti di smaltimento finale".
